I rather sit at the helm of affairs and cry than to be at the lowest ebb of life while smiling, which is not a good smile by the way. 

Do not live your life making excuses, do not live your life making enemies and do not live your life making troubles but rather, live your life making all moments count. 

Be kind to the people that you meet on daily basis basis because you don't know who is who. Kindness is like a body of water that we all drink from. Without it, nobody can survive because we need it everyday. It is like a wheel upon which the whole world revolves not to talk so much of forgiveness. 

Do not compromise because there is no shortcut route to success. Stay on your lane and do the needful. Know who you are and maintain your identity. Know what you stand for, make sure that it is right and then maintain your stance! A lot of people and a lot of things would come to test, distract and to undo you but do not let it happen. 

You are the foundation upon which your generation is going to be built, be solid and don't toy with your future. It is needless to say that a lot of people have lost a lot in life due to lack of the ability to pay attention to details. If you must follow God then you must for Him to the end. If you must follow good then you must make peace with all men so long as you can and if you must succeed then you must go all the way. 

Make no mistakes, the moments in which you live are passing away but you can enjoy every bit of them if you cherish the right things. 

People would come and go but the impressions that they leave are deeply felt. Do not be shallow-minded.

MOVE FORWARD NOW

All my life I have always learnt to say Hello to my past but now I have learnt to look into the future with an unassuming face in expectance of the best. The good thing is that you can join me. 

One thing that you should know about life is that it is like a journey that is made up of three segments and these are the now, the future and the past. The one in which you decide to dwell in depends on your choice. 

Make good choices. No one would tell you that the clothes you are putting on are torn until you say it to yourself. No one would tell you that what you are doing is wrong until you say it to yourself and no one would intimidate you until you feel weak. So, be strong. 

Nevertheless, the world in which we live in full of wonders. It is a place where some people work like elephants and feed like  ants. It is a place where you can achieve nothing until you make a decision. It is a place where you can be alone until you make the right friends. 

A couple of minutes ago you could find somebody rejoicing and in the next seconds you did find them weeping. What a world ! 

I wish you all the best that life can offer. Do not wish yourself anything lesser. You are a game-changer. Step right into the pitch and make things happen.

Life is like a football match. It is just that nobody is expected to be watching because everybody should be up and doing.

At times, we get so engrossed at thinking about what the world has said about us without minding what our own souls are saying. We all have a soul, there is no doubt about that. 

You cannot fail at what is expected of you because you already know that that is what you were born for. The things that matter to you the most could be what other people do not have time for and that th things that you have discarded could be what another person needs in order to make it in life. So, be thankful for the things that you have and always work to get the ones that you do not have. 

Be unique, stay real. The world would remember for saying that the truth when it is needed. Always do the needful. Take action because words do not put food on the table. Make it crystal clear to the world that you're a diamond and nobody would expect you to get rust.

ARISE

Do not condemn yourself when nobody has condemned you and even if they do, you can take No as an answer. I make bold to say that nobody has the right to condemn you ( not even me). For what I know, Jesus Christ had to right to condemn anybody He so wishes to but he relinquished that right because he is more interested in saving people than in condemning them. More importantly, do not let yourself to condemn you! 

If we're to let all the thoughts that flow into our minds to control us then we must run into troubles more often than not because some of them are not good. Your duty is to filter them, know what works for you and drop the rest. 

If you should permit people to speak rubbish into your life all in the name of insults on daily basis, one day you would run mad because some of those words are actually deadly. Search for your name in the book of life by knowing where you stand ( either with God or with satan) and if it is not there, you can have it written by surrendering totally to Christ. 

Nobody is above mistakes but living daily on one's mistakes is a deliberate act. Worst still, it can degenerate into an error. 

To avoid sin is to avoid doing wrongs to others and to oneself. To avoid poverty is to avoid been lazy and to avoid being a prison is to stay away from crimes. 

Run as fast as your legs could carry you so long as you are on the right track but if you are not then you might consider making a switch. Nobody knows how to treat you best except yourself. So, do it !

STAND FOR GOOD

We live in a world where evil can put on a white garment and appear to be good but we can actually detect it because everyone has a conscience yet some people have decided to put their own to rest because they think that by doing so, they would be better than the others because they tend to flow more with the crowd rather than with the truth. 

Truth be told, nobody can be exempted from the raging evils in our society today except those whose hands actually clean because there are various dimensions of evil that you begin to one if one could be able to mention them all but one of them is fake news! 

Do not hate anybody because of what people say about them especially if you do not know how the whole thing happened. Do not blame God for creating you and do not blame yourself for all the wrong things that happened in such a way that you do not have controls over them. Find a way to make things right. Chances are that you can still find your way home but before that, progress. Because there is time for everything, you do not have to be in a hurry. 

Give success time to groom, give yourself time to mature and give listening ears to the needy. God hears our prayers because of how we treat the people around us. Even when we do not pray, our actions appear before but it is good that we pray. At least, for the fact that it shows obedience to His word. 

Be who you are, nobody will stop you! Be where you should be, nobody would take your place and say what you should say, you will get it right. 

To be right on time should be your logo and not being late. Pick somethings to work on about yourself and add them to your to-do list. 

Everybody deserves a change and it can start with you, always go for the best and don't compromise.

SOMETHING WILL ENTER

I have come to realize that some of the things that we give up on as been impossible are actually carried out by some other people because they waited much longer to understand the system. 

Things do not work the same way in almost all the places except where the are unified. When you come to a new place, be humble enough to learn because a piece of advice is one of the things that you can actually get for free in this world. Always seek to improve because that is what makes you better. Remaining where you are from time to time without advancing up the ladder is not a good story to be told. Some of us graduated from primary schools before heading over to the secondary one. So, I believe that remaining in the same class forever is unbecoming except where the class is a force to reckon with ! 

There is no way backward, there is no victory for the quitters and there is no testimony for the fallen. To remain real, you must remain resolute. To quit is to go back to the mud! Do not give yourself a chance to regret any good thing you did simply because the people or fellow that you did it for does not worth because God sees everything. 

If there is anything that I can leave you with, it is the fact that tomorrow pregnant as most people would put it. What it begats depends solely on what we do now. Do not miss a target but strive always to hit the mark because heaven must be made, if you believe. 

Living on Earth gives you the opportunity to live in heaven if you do what you should do. So, put things right!

JUST KEEP TRYING

You have to. At times, you may have to find out that things are no longer the way that they used to be. Anything other than this can amount to living in denial. 

Things can improve, things can get worse. Do not rule outh those factors that matter when concluding. Your tomorrow is better than your yesterday only because you still have the opportunity to figure out what you did wrongly yesterday and do them well today. There is no other way to say this in order to make it sound genuine: truth is always bitter but you must adapt to it because truth cannot change for anybody but anybody can change for the truth and that is a step in the right direction.

When you do not know what you are expected to do, ask questions. When you are not where you are expected to be, think and when you are not who you are expected to be, change. 

Change does not come all that easily. Somebody must instigate it. Change from negative to positive, change from weak to strong and change from poor to rich. Before you can change your environment, you must change yourself. 

Do not bother on what is not going rightly currently. Focus on the things that are working and bring the best out of them. When the time is right, everything would fall into line. 

You are the Architect of your destiny. Do not forget, you have the right to shape your future into what it should be. 

Step right into your life, work on it and shut off all forms of distraction that do not pay !

8 THINGS THAT MADE ME TO MARVEL AT CHINMARK

When I was at Chinmark, I came across a lot of people and a lot of things that made me to marvel but these seem to be topping the list. 

1. When Donald was beaten. 

I heard so because I was not around when it happened but I gathered the information from reliable sources and I also heard it from him. 

2. When Donald was sacked.

Of course, he had to be since he kept running his mouth without restraint, who does that ? 

3. When Donald dropped a note. 

Poor child! He had no other option but to drop a humble note which I might still talk about later. He was just a security operative with the firm. So, there is every possibility that the note he dropped could sound somehow. 

4. When I refused a job offer. 

Definitely, I had to. 

5. When Precious was transferred.

I wouldn't say much on this but at times I wonder if there is any need of getting to know the people around you since you would later be transferred to a new working environment. 

6. When Kalu got a new house.

He had to change appartments and it wasn't a bad idea anyways. 

7. When Princewill left

Currently, he is not in Thinkers Corner Layout but I believe that he is somewhere good or even better. 

8. When Oga settled boys.

They come in there numbers but some are spectacular.

9. When Sunny Katako climbed the roof.

Take it from me, that guy is good at climbing roofs and he can set anything that had to do with woods and hammers in order ! 

10. When Oga rejected the shinny lights. 

It happened recently. Oga was not happy with those lights. So, he asked them (the electricians) to dismantle them with immediate effect.

11. When I fought Kalu.

I will not lie to you, he lifted me up and paced around like a hero then he dropped me on the bare floor without much hassles. Lols, the guy is just somehow. 

12. When Baba employed me.

He was in charge of the carpentry department. So, he got me involved. You can imagine. I had to carry planks all along. It was not easy ! 

12. When I changed location. 

I am a walkaholic. Do not blame me.

13. When I met Kembellas

She had a store around the area. So, it wasn't much issues finding her but what intrigues me the most is her name - Kembellas ! I mean, it sounds somehow. 

14. When I began to answer Logistics

Oh Chi m! I never knew that it was going to happen but it did. 

15. When Daniel left.

Daniel was a calm personality working in the security department but as at the time of typing this, he had left but I still remember him. 

16. When Japhal fought Noboss

17. When Bigi left, how he came back with dreadlocks. 

18. When Nwotu left and what we expected. 

19. When we worked till day break.

20. When rain came.

CRACK IT OPEN

 I am tempted to laugh but I will not. So, I will just let some rays of smile to beam throughout my face as I continue typing. You might wonder why but the answer is not far-fetched. It is because we have been there ourselves. There are times that you face situations in which you wonder if you could ever come out successful. Your guess is as good as mine, in such kind of situations, we rest and get back to work later.

When you know that nobody is thinking about you, it gives you time to think about yourself, when you know that somebody is thinking about you, it gives you time to wonder what is going on in the person's mind and when you know that other people are busy thinking about what they have been through, what they're going through and what they will still go through in the future, it gives you time to think more about God and forget your worries!

Who does being worried help ? For crying out loud, worry has never been the way out of any problem. So, put yourself together and work. Definitely, you are going to succeed. If not today then it is tomorrow. just keep trying and don't give up. 

I am not forcing you, success is by choice. Choose today to succeed and nobody would stop you!

You  are your own boss, open a new page of your life and write new things in it. In the future, we would be there to say that we know when you started.

REVIEW YOUR PAST

 Now, I repent. I used to be of the opinion that everybody should avoid visiting the past because it is perceived that it always brings tears rather than joy considering the fact that it reminds you of the things that you failed to do, the chances that you failed to take and the opportunities that you missed!

looking at it now, I can only say that the past can contain as much rich memories as possible that anybody could remember about the family, the friends that we kept and the environment that we're leaving behind yet nothing is worth abandoning as they make up our whole life. Life in itself is a lesson to be learnt. So, there could be mistakes along the line but rather than making them to become a stumbling block, you can as well make them to become the climbing blocks for your toes and let go of the ugly ones if need need. 

It is not everybody that is worth remembering, it is not everything you did that is worth regretting  and it is not all the places that you have been to that are worth occupying spaces in your life. At times, free yourself from the bustles of life and take a nap.

There is always a time to start doing something, a time to step it up and a time to end but in all, do not end in shame and never end yourself because there are always good things coming your wy if you keep your mind open and positive.

Today is a good day to start, do not waste it!

STAY ON GUARD

 In the world in which we live now, being security conscious has become a necessity because we cannot say what will happen next. In the foregoing, it is only a fool that would joke with his or her life and I know that you are not one. Stay on guard. if not for anything just for the fact that you have a story to tell. Yes, each and everyone of us does. 

Your story may not be the same as mine but in all, we try to draw up inferences from the happenings around us because nobody would say that he or she does not know what is happening currently in our world. Your story can be inspiring, your story can be sad but each story told well has a way of shaping the next one into the masterpiece that it should be. Do not be sad. Most of us have in and out of different challenges yet they did not kill us. Your challenges will not kill you, your challenges will not pull you down until you say, "I quit." which is not what I want to hear from you! 

Learn from the masters, learn from yourself because you're either a master or a mistress in the making. Learn from your parents. the grey-hairs have a long night of wisdom to go. You can be part of it. I am not yet the best person that I should be because I am still working on it, you too should. 

There is still a better version of you. Different from the challenges that you have been facing, different from the tears that you have been shedding and closest to the person that you would want to be. Become the best that you can be, the time is now.
